IOF Field Trip Recap: Chilliwack Lake

🌿 IOF Field Trip Recap: Chilliwack Lake 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on our incredible field trip to Chilliwack Lake on September 11th! The day was filled with exploration, learning, and stunning views of BC’s freshwater ecosystems.

Morning people (sheesh)

We started the day at Angelwing side channel, where Dr. Jordan Rosenfeld guided us through restored habitats. It was fascinating to see conservation efforts in action and understand some of their crucial details!

The hike through Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park offered breathtaking views of old-growth forests. It was a beautiful day of connecting with nature and each other. Thank you, Shehan Boteju (@shehanboteju), for the photos!
