Congratulations to MSc student Aleah Wong, who has made it to the final round of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) 2024 Storytellers Challenge.
The annual challenge asks postsecondary students across the country to inspire audiences with a compelling research story—in up to 300 words or three minutes—demonstrating how SSHRC-funded research is making a difference in the lives of Canadians. Their research stories involve topics that are important to Canadians and have wide-reaching impacts in our communities across the country.
Aleah will join the other finalists at the Science Writers and Communicators of Canada (SWCC) conference on Monday, May 6, 2024, in Saskatoon, where the finalists will be judged based on their live storytelling skills.
