Mocha Ruiz

Mocha

RESCUED pet

Owns Chloe Ruiz, Research Assistant, Sea Around Us
  • Like Tequila, Mocha was also found in Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico when Chloe was visiting family.
  • Mocha was a stray pup who hung out by a church where she was occasionally fed, but, was confirmed by the church night security guard who lived on the property that she had no owners and she was terrified of humans and wouldn’t let people pet her.
  • After gaining her trust by bringing her food and water everyday, Mocha finally let us take her home and foster her for a bit. Here is the picture of the day we brought her home in Mexico.
  • Through mutuals and the help of social media, we found Mocha a loving family in Vancouver who treats her like the princess she is! Now Mocha doesn’t go a single day without food, water and love.
