Tequila Ruiz

Stay at home pet

Owns Chloe Ruiz, Research Assistant, Sea Around Us
  • Tequila was an injured and hungry stray pup roaming the side of a highway in the streets of Zamora, Michoacán, Mexico before Chloe found her. Tequila made it very clear that she did not want to be left behind and jumped into Chloe’s car after her. From that moment on, they became best friend’s and Tequila is now living her best life in Canada and loves playing in the snow!
  • Tequila is very intelligent and knows over six tricks including opening doors.. so if you don’t want her to enter a room it must always be locked
  • Although her breed is unkown, we believe she has some Border Collie, Pitbull, German Pointer, Italian Greyhound, and maybe even Jack Rusell?
  • Unfortunately, Tequila will not be seen at the IOF because she’s very scared of men, reactive to other dogs, and get’s a little too over protective over her owners
