Adams River Sockeye Trip

A group of approximately 30 students, along with some faculty and staff, spent the September 29-30, 2018 weekend in Tsútswecw Provincial Park to witness the famous Adams River sockeye run and enjoy the Salute to the Sockeye Festival.

Every four years this river sees a large run of sockeye salmon and this group was lucky enough to witness this monumental event.

Dr. Carl Walters joined the group to talk about the history and significance of the run.
