Research Assistant

Marine Mammal Research Unit

What I do

Taryn is a Research Assistant in the Marine Mammal Research Unit. Her research focuses on analyzing seasonal and decadal trends in killer whale populations in BC. Currently her research focuses on southern resident killer whale presence in the Salish Sea throughout the past several years to determine what has caused a shift in their use of the area.
