Ruth Patrick Award (ASLO)

Given to aquatic scientists who have made either sustained contributions or a single, but critical contribution towards solving an environmental problem. Deadline: December 13, 2020

John Martin Award (ASLO)

Recognizes a paper in aquatic sciences that is judged to have had a high impact on subsequent research in the field. Deadline: December 13, 2020

A.C. Redfield Lifetime Achievement Award (ASLO)

For established aquatic scientists whose work is recognized for its importance and long-term influence. Deadline: December 13, 2020

G. Evelyn Hutchinson Award (ASLO)

For mid-career scientists, for work accomplished during the preceding 5-10 years in any aspect of limnology or oceanography. December 13, 2020

Raymond L. Lindeman Award (ASLO)

Recognizing an outstanding paper, published in a peer-reviewed journal, dealing with the aquatic sciences, by an author who is no older than 35 years during the publication year Deadline: December 13, 2020

Yentsch-Schindler Early Career Award (ASLO)

Honors an early career aquatic scientist. Deadline: December 13, 2020

Edward T. LaRoe III Memorial Award (Society for Conservation Biology)

For a leader in translating principles of conservation biology into real-world conservation Deadline: January 18

Croonian Medal and Lecture (Royal Society of London)

This prize lecture is the premier lecture in the biological sciences and is delivered annually at the Royal Society in London. Deadline: January 2021

Copley Medal (Royal Society of London)

For outstanding achievements in research in any branch of science, though it alternates between the physical and biological sciences (odd and even years respectively). Deadline: January 2021

Paz Buttedahl Career Achievement Award (CUFA BC)

For sustained outstanding contributions to the community through research or other scholarly activities. Deadline: January 31, 2021

Early in Career Award (CUFA BC)

The Early in Career Award recognizes outstanding contributions made by scholars at relatively early stages in their careers. Deadline: January 31, 2021

Ehor Boyanowsky Academic of the Year Award (CUFA BC)
