L’Oréal-UNESCO International Awards For Women in Science – Laureates

Created in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards identify and support eminent women in science throughout the world. Each year, five Awards Laureates are recognized for their contributions to the advancement of science, in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences in alternating years.

In 2019, the Awards were designated for five outstanding researchers in the Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, each working in one of the following regions: Africa and the Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America. In 2020, the Awards will focus on Life Sciences.

Award:
Each of the Award Laureates will receive €100,000.
